Trails End Popcorn
All scouts should sell a minimum of $100 which can be in the way of Jamba Juice cards, Popcorn or both. Of course, we strongly encourage our scouts to try and exceed the minimum which will also allow them to earn Amazon rewards and pack incentives like ice cream/pizza party, throwing pies in the leaders face and money toward next year's dues.
Trails End Popcorn
Sales period is September 1, 2022 - October 17, 2022.
Sales can be at store fronts, door-to-door, online, or to family, friends, etc...
All sales are input and managed via the Trail's End App. Text APP to 62771

An invitation to create your scout account on the app has been sent. Please be sure to check your email and/or text for the invitation.
Paper forms are available upon request but you must still download and use the app for all popcorn orders.
All "Take Orders", which are where you take orders and deliver the product at a later date (after 11/9/22) are due by 10/17/22, and all money for these orders need to be turned in to Michelle or Meghan at the same time.
If you are participating in Storefront reservations, those need to be made in your Trail's End account ASAP.
Get your kids excited to sell and help them practice their sales pitch.
Don't forget to review the safety rules with your scouts when selling to the public.
Remember, we are selling scouting more so than the product itself. Have the Scout share what they are earning money towards (i.e., going to camp, badges/belt loops, fun Pack activities, etc...)
Remember to offer the Hero donations where Trail's End will send popcorn to our troops.
Storefront logistics will be provided in advance of your date/time.

I just wanted to remind everyone to download the Trails End app onto your phone.
We’re giving everyone until Sunday to get the app and sign up for storefronts. In order to get you signed up for the day you picked at the pack meeting you must create an account on Trails End. Our last popcorn order is Monday 9/05 so we want to have an idea of who wants at the storefronts. If you don’t get signed up we can’t guarantee there will be enough popcorn for future storefront sales.

Hello, Pack 281 Families,
We only have two more weekends of Storefront Popcorn Sales, and all "Take Orders" are due by 10/20/22.
If you have not yet signed up in the Trails End App and would like for your child to sell popcorn, please do so ASAP as time is running out. You can set up the Trails End account by texting APP to 62771. It will ask for the following information:

"Storefront Sales" are available for the next two weekends, and we would like to fill all the shifts. So even if you have already done one, sign up for another! We have some scouts who have been doing storefronts every weekend.

"Take Orders" also known as "Undelivered Wagon Sales" are when you sell to someone now but deliver to them at a later date (middle of November). These are the orders that are due to me by October 20th. These orders will be sent into council who will order the proper product and then we will have you pick up and then deliver to your customer.
"Online Direct" orders are where you send someone a link (usually those not local) and have them order and pay online and have the product shipped directly to them. Per the email below, all orders over $55 ship for free until 10/10/22.
**Remember, we are selling SCOUTING and the cost is reflective of donations to the scouting program with a bonus bag of popcorn. For example, a $25 bag of popcorn can be viewed as a $20 donation to scouts and a $5 bag of popcorn...get creative! There is also the option of donating to our "Heroes and Helpers" and many people like to donate to the military.**
Also keep in mind, in addition to the Trails End incentives of Amazon gift cards for 500 or more points, our Pack has the following incentives (which includes Jamba Sales):
$100 in sales = Participate in an Ice Cream Party
$500 in sales = Participate in a Pizza Party
$750 in sales = Pie a Leader
$1000+ in sales = Annual Dues or Camp Lassen Paid for.
Finally, if you have chosen not to participate in any of the fundraisers, that's okay too, just please let us know, as we will need to notate this when working on our recharter.

Make a direct sales pitch over the phone, through email, text message and direct message on social media. For better results, create a video of the Scout’s sales pitch and send it directly (not in a group message)
Sell door to door using the Trail's End App and let Trail's End ship the product to your customers.
Create a Facebook event for the duration of the promotion and invite friends to join and comment in the event after they’ve made a purchase.
Try the 50-state challenge where a Scout tries to get sales from all 50 states. Successful Scouts tag friends and family on social media around the country and encourage them to share to help extend their social reach.
Share multiple times a week throughout the promotion so posts are always at the top of your friend's social media feeds.
