Coordination of event volunteers

Attend Pack meetings and the District’s monthly roundtable meetings

Complete annual Pack Charter in compliance with District / Council guidelines

Primary contact with Chartered Organization Representative and GRDC

Prepare Pack correspondence/newsletter

Help Coordinate Fall & Spring membership drive

Publicize Pack 281 events in Gold River Newspaper and Gold River Online.

Help select the right leadership for the unit

Promote well planned unit programs

Serve as a liaison between the unit and the Chartered Organization

Recommend a parent of a child attending GRDC

Encourage recognition of leaders

Lead pack meetings

Present scout advancements

Lead monthly pack activity

Miscellaneous other volunteering and scout activities

Maintains pack’s equipment

Flags - store and bring to pack meetings (Needs a Truck)

Keep inventory of the pack’s property within storage facility

Checks out property to event coordinators as needed

Request Den Leaders input advancements in Scoutbook

Be aware of all training opportunities for Leaders, parents and Den Chiefs.

Promote leaders' attendance at training courses

Maintain up-to-date information on membership, leadership, and attendance

Attend recruiting leader meetings

Organize Fall & Spring recruiting events
